A Heartfelt Wedding at the Crossed Keys Estate in Andover, New Jersey

Emotion and Connection in Wedding Photos

Emotion and connection in wedding photos is what I look for first. Give me a beautiful backdrop and location such as the Crossed Keys Estate in Andover New Jersey, and be fully present with your chosen family and friends. Those will be moments (and photographs) that you will never forget.

The wedding day starts comfortably at the Playhouse at the Crossed Keys Estate. You could watch your ceremony space from here as morning comes together. Across the estate grounds is yet another cabin for your partner if you decide to prepare separately, about a couple of minutes walk from the playhouse. The grounds are beautiful with reflective pools, gardens, willow trees and paths perfect for a bit of quiet.

The morning of the wedding with family and friends.

The morning of the wedding unfolds and chairs slowly start to line the aisle, and the beautiful flowers arrive in perfect timing. In the playhouse, family and friends gather around Heather while Kevin dressed in his cabin not too far away. Heather got ready in the playhouse and had planned a first look with her father after she stepped into her dress.

The location for the first look was a close walk from the Playhouse at the Crossed Keys Estate.

By the playhouse there is a great swing hanging from a tall tree. This would be the beautiful spot for the first look. It is wide open yet intimate at the same time.

For the ceremony, guests gathered behind the playhouse next to the gardens.

The chatter of guests greeting each other – families and friends, younger ones and older ones and many a long time friend reunited, created an energy of excitement for the celebration that was to come.

After ceremony, the celebrations continued at the Crossed Keys Estate with live music and and open dance floor for all guests.
